Existential Hero is a folkwave/bedroom pop singularity who spent most of his early days immersed in the Santa Barbara and central coast DIY communities even going as far as to play one glorious show in Tokyo in 2008 and touring the United States West Coast in 2009.
A great element of Existential Hero’s fortunate mild success in the DIY world is in no small part to the community over at CLLCT.com where over the years collaborations and celebrations (and even touring venues) grew out of those online connections and the amazing people doing music for themselves and the people they love.
Currently basking in the glow of his latest release in 2012, The Life & Lies of Steven Ray Morris, it marks and end and beginning of an era. Will the daytime passion conquer this troubadour’s pop catharthis? Stay tuned to find out!
